Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced is manufactured with the galvanised steel wires as centre core to give added strength and for obtaining a high strength to weight ratio. The Conductor has high tensile strength with longer spans as well as lesser supports. The Conductor consists of seven or more wire built up in concentric layers. The Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced has centre wire or wires made using galvanised steel and the outer layers are of aluminium wires.
